1. Scope and roles

This policy applies to personal data processed through the AbMilega website, application interfaces, booking services, hotel-management interfaces and support channels operated by AbMilega.

Depending on the activity, AbMilega and a hotel may each have separate responsibilities for personal data. For example, AbMilega may process booking and payment information to operate the Platform, while a hotel may separately process guest information to provide the stay, meet identity requirements and comply with its legal obligations.

2. Personal data we may collect

  • Account details such as name, email address and mobile number.
  • Booking details such as guest names, stay dates, occupancy, room or rate-plan selection and special requests.
  • Payment and transaction references, payment status and refund information. Full payment-card credentials are generally handled by the payment provider.
  • Hotel-partner information such as business contact details, property information, tax details, payout or settlement information and documents submitted for verification.
  • Support messages, reviews, feedback, dispute information and communications.
  • Technical information such as browser type, device information, IP-related security information, logs and Platform usage data.
  • Information stored locally in your browser or device for authentication, preferences and session functionality.

3. How we use personal data

  • Create and secure accounts.
  • Search hotels, price rooms and check availability.
  • Create, confirm, modify and cancel reservations.
  • Process payments, refunds, invoicing, reconciliation and fraud checks.
  • Provide customer support and resolve booking disputes.
  • Operate hotel-partner dashboards, rate management and inventory synchronization.
  • Protect the Platform against abuse, automated attacks and fraudulent transactions.
  • Improve reliability, usability, security and service performance.
  • Meet accounting, tax, legal, regulatory and law-enforcement obligations where applicable.

4. Legal basis and consent

Personal data may be processed where necessary to provide a service you requested, perform or prepare for a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate security interests, or on the basis of consent where consent is required by applicable law.

Where consent is the basis for processing, you may have the right to withdraw it. Withdrawal may not affect processing already carried out lawfully and may mean that a particular feature can no longer be provided.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the Platform, including payment processors, cloud or hosting providers, communications providers, security providers, analytics or diagnostics services where enabled, and channel-management or technology partners used by hotels.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, protection of rights or safety, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition or restructuring.

We do not sell personal data as a data-broker product.

6. Sharing with hotels and booking counterparties

When you make a reservation, information necessary to fulfil the booking may be shared with the relevant hotel, including guest name, contact details, stay dates, occupancy and booking reference. Hotels may have their own privacy notices and legal responsibilities for the information they receive.

7. Payments and payment security

Online payment information is processed through payment providers such as Razorpay. AbMilega may retain transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, timestamps and refund records needed to reconcile and support the booking.

You should review the payment provider's privacy and security documentation for details on payment-data handling.

8. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies

AbMilega may use cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies for login/session functionality, security, preferences and service operation. Where non-essential technologies are enabled, their use may be controlled through the mechanisms we provide or browser settings.

Blocking essential storage can prevent login, booking or other features from working correctly.

9. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including account and booking history, financial and tax records, fraud-prevention records, dispute resolution, legal compliance and security.

Retention periods can differ by data type and legal obligation. When data is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. These measures can include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit and monitoring.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure.

11. Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights relating to access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal and other controls over your personal data.

To make a request, email support@abmilega.com and provide enough information for us to verify the request and identify the relevant account or booking. We may need to retain limited information to meet legal or security obligations.

12. Children

The booking services are intended for people who can lawfully enter into contracts. We do not knowingly invite children to create independent accounts. Where a child is part of a family booking, the booking data may be provided by the adult responsible for the reservation and processed as necessary to provide the stay.

13. International processing and third parties

Some service providers may process information in locations outside your state or country. Where cross-border processing is used, AbMilega will apply the safeguards and requirements applicable to that processing under Indian law and other applicable requirements.

Links to hotels, payment providers or other third-party websites are governed by the third party's own terms and privacy practices.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date. Significant changes may also be communicated through the Platform or another appropriate channel where required.
